Mayor Kimo Alameda announcing the purchase of the newest PONC property on May 8, 2026. Honolulu Landing is now in County's hands keeping it out of future development to be managed by the lineal and cultural descendants of this land. A project near and dear to my heart as have been working on this preservation effort for over 20 years. Mahalo to all who stepped up to help with this project starting with Emily Naeole, Ashley Kierkiewicz, Jan Marshall, Marcie Browne, the PONC Commissioners and of course our Mayor Kimo Alameda for getting this done.
